Reviews. Decent little diner. Had breakfast at the recommendation of our innkeeper and the meal was okay. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. Food is good and reasonably priced.  Good alternative to standing in line at the Breakfast Club. Family Style Restaurant · Best place to eat breakfast. Has an oustanding breakfast buffet. It had a busy atmosphere and no frills, but the food and the service were outstanding. The breakfast buffet is only 6.99 too, no one can beat that! The staff always smiled and the breakfast outstanding. They have a breakfest buffet on the weekends and the homade sasage gravy is out of this world!

Excited about being in Tybee next week looking forward to eating at Social serveral times! Reviews. Great food and atmosphere! Fantastic food and atmosphere! Truffle burger, superman taco, and crab & shrimp nachos were delicious. Unique menu with great flavor. The waitress was also very nice. The "taco's" are outstanding. The seasonings are well rounded and the combinations with the protein choices outstanding. Not your typical tacos as they are serve in pita bread. We had the orange pork (oh my goodness-so good!!!) and the short rib (really good but not as good as pork) and the sweet potato fries (seasoned with chipotle pepper and VERY yummy). This has become a favorite of ours! Turns out that their version of a taco is more like a giant gyro.

Great Service! Vegetarian friendly too!!I recently stayed on Tybee Island for a brief vacation. I am a seafood lover and was wonderfully surprised by MacElwees Restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and service were nothing short of fantastic!! The breading on the shrimp was light and delicate. The quaint surroundings inside and view of the water from my table were outstanding. Last but not least was the prompt and knowledgeable service I received. My server, Aubry I believe, was so helpfull. Truly a great place for family dinning as well. Kudos to the manager and staff, keep up the good work !! I can't wait for my next trip back.
