Georgianne Inn

In 1910, a loving father built a home at the beach for his daughter Georgianne. This home became The Georgianne Inn in 1921. It has since that time lived many lives and undergone many changes, but her name remains the same.
Her description is elusive, but those who have stayed here sense her timelessness. Many have expressed upsurges of memories from childhood reminiscent of a visit to grandma's house.
Today, the Basta Family - Nick, Chris and Matt - operates The Georgianne Inn. We are dedicated to giving every guest the best possible stay on Tybee Island. Need a restaurant recommendation? Want to go fishing? Have a special request for your room upon arrival?*
In the tradition, we are continuing to bring the best possible quality to our Inn. We are undergoing a renovation and remodel to make our Inn even better. But don't worry. We are keeping with tradition, using bead board and vibrant colors to maintain the "Tybee Time" feeling. We are updating, but keeping the old fashion feeling our returning guests have come back to enjoy each year.
We mean it when we say, "Staying at The Georgianne Inn, we accommodate you like family." This is your beach house to enjoy and come back to every year.
Whether you are vacationing alone or with your family, there is no question that your stay on Tybee Island will be enhanced here at The Georgianne Inn. And don't be surprised when you find yourself leaving relaxed and refreshed, and then returning again for another taste of her subtle magic.
We personally take care of our seven rooms, ranging from studios to one- and two-bedrooms, to give you a peaceful, secure, and casual place to stay. We're just three houses off the beach, 20-25 minutes to downtown Historic Savannah and 45 minutes to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.
